Questions and answers

How booking works, what to bring and what happens if the weather turns. For anything else, ask the captain on WhatsApp.

Booking and paying

How do I book?
Pick a trip and a date on this site and send the request. Nothing is paid here. The captain checks the date and confirms on WhatsApp.
Does my request hold the date?
No. A request does not hold the date. It is yours once the captain confirms and the deposit is paid.
How much is the deposit?
Half the charter. Once the captain confirms, he tells you how to pay it on WhatsApp.
Is the price per person?
No. Every price is for the whole boat and covers a set number of guests. Above that, each extra guest is added on, up to 10, and the captain confirms the total.
How far ahead can we book?
Up to a year ahead. Send the request as soon as you know your date.

Changes, cancelling and weather

What if we cancel?
If you cancel, the deposit isn't refunded.
Can we change the date?
Ask the captain on WhatsApp. He tells you whether another date works.
What if the weather turns?
The captain decides on the day whether it is safe to go. If he cancels for weather, you get a full refund or a new date.

On the day

Where do we meet the boat?
At the Margaritaville eastern charter dock on Paradise Island. The captain confirms the meeting point and your start time on WhatsApp.
What should we bring?
Swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Bring your own drinks and snacks if you like. The snorkelling trips come with snorkel gear.
Can we play our own music?
Yes. Bring your playlist and it plays on the boat.
Is lunch included?
Not unless the trip says so. Several trips stop where you can buy lunch, such as Footprints or the floating bar.
Are there life vests?
Yes, one for every guest. The boat follows the safety and vessel standards of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

Who can come

How many people fit on the boat?
Up to 10 guests, plus the captain. Each trip shows how many guests its price covers.
Can kids come?
Yes. Under 18s come with an adult. Infants under two cannot join.
What if someone has a medical condition?
Tell the captain about any medical condition or allergy when you book. The boat is not wheelchair accessible, and the trips are not recommended in pregnancy or for back or heart problems.
Can we go somewhere that is not listed?
Yes. Build your own trip from the stops he runs near Nassau, or ask about Exuma and Eleuthera.
