Swimming pigs from Nassau

The swimming pigs near Nassau are on Athol Island, a short boat ride from Paradise Island. Twister Adventure's Swimming Pigs & Snorkeling trip is a private boat for your group. You snorkel two reefs first, Pearl Island and Rose Island, then visit the pigs, who meet you in shallow water, then spend time on a private beach. It costs $1,400 for the whole boat, with Captain Twister at the helm.

How the day goes

You leave from the dock and snorkel the two reefs among coral and tropical fish. Then the boat runs to the pig beach. The pigs come out to meet you in the shallows, about ankle deep, and there is time for photos before a stop on a private beach.

Which island

The pigs on this trip live on Athol Island, next to Paradise Island. Many guests just call it Pig Island. The pigs in Exuma are a different, longer trip, quoted on request.

Captain Twister and first mate Ray played great music and went out of their way to find us the sea life.

Celebrity homes, sea turtles, the swimming pigs and a private beach, then lunch at a floating restaurant, with our own music playing.
